CNC Machinist Position Overview

Operate and set up various CNC Milling Equipment
-
Load existing programs into the machine controls and perform necessary modifications

Communicate any production challenges to the Production Management team

Ensure a tidy and safe working environment
CNC Machinist Position Requirements

  • Proven experience in setting up and operating CNC milling equipment
  • Completion of an apprenticeship in a manufacturing field is preferred
  • Capability to interpret engineering drawings is advantageous
  • Prior experience in basic editing of CNC programs at the machine interface
  • Familiarity with Heidenhain controlled milling machines is a plus
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance
  • Valid UK Driving License
CNC Machinist Position Remuneration

  • Full-time employment
  • Permanent position
  • Salary: £17 per hour (based on experience)
  • Monday to Friday, 39-hour work week
  • Pension scheme included
