About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spanish Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As a Spanish Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a passion for the Spanish language and culture among students of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons to students across various levels, from beginner to advanced
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum aligned with national standards
  • Employ creative teaching methods and strategies to cater to diverse learning styles
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Spanish department's overall effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Spanish or a related field
  • Strong command of both spoken and written Spanish
  • Proven teaching experience at secondary school level, preferably with experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Spanish
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a passion for the Spanish language and culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
