About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Relief Security Officer to join our team at First Response Group. As a Relief Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel.

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for conducting security patrols, responding to incidents, and providing support to employees and visitors.

As a Relief Security Officer, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including commercial and industrial sites, and will be required to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular security patrols of the premises to prevent and deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, including fire and intruder alarms.
  • Provide support and assistance to employees and visitors, including answering queries and resolving issues.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and report any suspicious activity.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and security-related activities.
  • Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a high level of security and safety.
Requirements
  • Valid Door Supervisor SIA Licence.
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar Security role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High levels of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history in accordance with BS7858 standards.
