A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Sales Engineer to join our client, a leading manufacturer of laboratory equipment, in the role of Territory Sales Representative for Analytical Instruments. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships and generating new business opportunities across the UK and occasionally overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a defined territory, building strong relationships with customers and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on the use of laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective sales projects and negotiations.
- Travel throughout the UK and occasionally overseas for training, business meetings, and customer visits.
Requirements:
- At least two years' experience in selling laboratory-based instrumentation, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with laboratory managers, PhD-level scientists, and technicians.
- Availability to travel extensively throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.
- Located in the South West of England, with easy access to the main road network and a full UK driving license.
