About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Graduate Software Tester to join our thriving team in Milton Keynes. As a Graduate Software Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering great new features and improvements that the team is expected to champion, support, and evolve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to design, develop, test, and deliver software applications that make a real difference in the energy market.
  • Work in an agile scrum environment, adhering to scrum values, and delivering significant change to our products.
  • Be directly involved in the development, testing, and delivery of software applications using modern technologies, such as Java, SQL, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Contribute to the development of business-critical, scalable applications using cloud and on-premise platforms.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including developers, product owners, and customers.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Desire to learn and understand how energy retail and carbon management industries work.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and understand existing software platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
