About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sports sessions to groups of up to 16 children, promoting physical activity and fun in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Supervise children during lunch breaks, swimming sessions, and other activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Participate in swimming sessions and oversee the safe use of equipment.
  • Record any incidents or accidents, and report them to the Camp Manager as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the Camp Manager and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the camp.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years.
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games.
  • Vibrant, resilient, and team-oriented individual with a passion for working with children.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education.
  • Paediatric First Aid certification (training opportunities available).
