About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Companionship and Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Personal Care and Assistance: Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing support with meal preparation and nutrition.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Light Housekeeping and Laundry: Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Transportation and Accompaniment: Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities, promoting their independence and social interaction.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of care provided, ensuring that clients' needs are met and their progress is tracked.
Requirements
  • Passion for Care and Support: Be passionate about providing high-quality care and support to our clients.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to clients' changing needs and circumstances.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence and Vehicle: Possess a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work-related purposes.
  • Right to Work in the UK: Have the right to work in the UK.
