Job Title: Residential Complex Porter
Job Summary:
Talent Staffing is seeking a reliable and competent Front Desk Porter to provide a high level of customer service and security presence in a team-based role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of tenants and visitors to the building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide an efficient and courteous level of assistance and service to all tenants and visitors at all times.
- Provide a security presence in the building on a 5-day rotational basis, ensuring the safety and well-being of tenants.
- Assist the supervisor as necessary in the smooth and efficient running of the building.
Responsibilities:
Safety and Security- Provide a manned presence in the reception area and check all persons entering or leaving the building to ensure unauthorized access.
- Make regular internal inspections of the building as directed by the supervisor and report on any findings.
- Keep a daily diary of events and activities within the building and record details of all visitors, contractors, and other persons in a visitors' book.
- Make appropriate entries into the register books regarding pest control, maintenance items, appointments with the estate office staff, and other relevant information.
- Complete the daily Incident Report and pass it to the House Manager upon arrival.
- Monitor CCTV and Interphone systems on Reception and take necessary action as required.
- Review CCTV footage when requested by the Police and print off pictures or download the footage as necessary.
- Ensure a clean and smart personal appearance and presentation at all times, wearing the prescribed uniform with jacket buttoned when worn.
- Deal efficiently with arrivals and departures of tenants in accordance with instructions.
- Carry out designated cleaning tasks as directed by the Night Supervisor.
- Instruct or call in appropriate contractors as circumstances demand to maintain the smooth running and integrity of the building and the safety and well-being of its occupants.
- Respond as appropriate to breakdowns and emergencies, with full training provided.
