Junior Installation Engineer Opportunity

We are excited to announce an opening for a Junior Installation Engineer to become a vital part of our Field Operations Team. This role will involve working with a diverse range of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) roadside technologies, including Traffic Signals, Variable Message Signs (VMS), Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations, and other advanced roadside solutions. Our operations primarily focus on the East Midlands region, where delivering exceptional customer service and adhering to Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) standards are paramount.

While the majority of your responsibilities will be centered in the local area, there may be opportunities for travel to other service districts, which could occasionally require overnight stays.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To thrive in this position, the successful candidate should demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:

  • GCSE qualifications in English and Mathematics
  • Fundamental understanding of electrical systems
  • Knowledge of traffic signal installation and basic operational principles
  • Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Willingness to work at elevated heights
  • Organized, proactive, and enthusiastic work ethic
  • Valid driving license and eligibility to work in the UK
