AWC STAFF SERVICES LTD is seeking a skilled Commercial Manager with a strong background in the Power sector to oversee both ongoing and upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate all procurement processes to guarantee optimal value acquisition.
- Oversee the effective management of the supply chain within defined commercial and operational standards.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to ensure proactive management of the commercial aspects of the project acquisition process and governance presentations.
- Formulate and execute a robust commercial strategy for the Contracts, including tender approaches, cash flow management, and margin enhancement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with the framework contractual obligations.
- Engage with clients, representatives, and other stakeholders regarding commercial matters.
- In partnership with the Contract Director and Finance Business Partner, establish the annual business strategy and develop the approach to achieve its objectives.
Qualifications & Expertise:
- Extensive commercial experience, preferably within a contracting organization, with a proven track record on projects of similar scale and complexity.
- Demonstrable expert knowledge of contract procedures, particularly those relevant to the NEC suite of contracts.
- BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
- Possession of a relevant CSCS card.
