Fire Safety Role
================

We are seeking a skilled Fire Safety Advisor to join our team at Arnold Clark Group. As a Fire Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our employees and customers by coordinating fire safety standards across our branches.

Responsibilities
---------------

* Liaise with employees at all levels to advise and assist with Fire Safety standards, offering support and guidance.
* Conduct fire risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate them.
* Liaise with building control and enforcing authorities to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
* Attend pre-start meetings for new-builds or refurbs to ensure fire safety standards are met.
* Review plans and fire strategy drawings to ensure they meet fire safety requirements.
* Act as a point of contact for enforcing authorities, architects, and building control.
* Attend departmental meetings and dedicated fire safety meetings to stay up-to-date on fire safety best practices.

Requirements
------------

* Fire Safety Levels 3 and 4 (Auditors/Enforcers) certification.
* Fire Risk Assessment training (e.g. CS Todd or similar).
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
* Good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
* A full UK driving license.
* Good up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation.
* Ability to work well with others and make decisions under pressure.
* A high level of accuracy and the ability to multi-task.
