Automotive Technician

Total Staff Services is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Automotive Technician on behalf of our esteemed client.

Compensation:
Competitive salary based on experience, along with monthly bonus potential.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am - 12:30pm (specific conditions apply)
Essential Qualifications:
Certified & experienced Automotive Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is mandatory)
Valid UK driving licence with minimal penalty points
Proficient in computer usage with a quick learning ability for new systems.

- Positive attitude, punctual, diligent, adaptable, and motivated
- Ability to follow directives and work autonomously without oversight
- Customer-oriented, taking pride in delivering superior service
- Efficient in maintaining quality while optimizing workshop productivity
- Conduct routine maintenance, service inspections, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Execute fault diagnostics on various systems including engine, transmission, brakes, air conditioning, security features, and fuel systems
- Perform repair/service tasks on engine units, drive trains, suspension components, brakes, air conditioning systems, electrical systems, emissions systems, and interior trim components
- Engage in continuous manufacturer training, both in-house and at external facilities
