As the Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician, you will collaborate closely with the Workshop Manager to oversee a growing fleet of over 40 vehicles by delivering routine maintenance, repairs, servicing, and MOT inspections in accordance with VOSA standards.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting service, inspection, maintenance, and repair across a fleet of 40+ heavy goods vehicles.
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tyre rotations.
- Carrying out MOT inspections promptly for all heavy goods vehicles on site.
- Executing minor and major repairs to heavy goods vehicles as necessary.
- Engaging in welding, fabrication, and body repairs as required.
- Conducting periodic safety inspections and maintaining regular documentation for all heavy goods vehicles to meet VOSA inspection manual standards.
- Keeping accurate records of vehicle maintenance.
- Assisting the Workshop Manager in managing fleet maintenance costs within budgetary constraints.
- Demonstrated experience in the service, inspection, MOT, fault diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy goods vehicles.
- Capability to produce clear and concise reports detailing work performed and parts utilized.
