About the Role

BCL Legal is seeking an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to join its Birmingham office. As a key member of our Energy and Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of energy and infrastructure projects, including development and investment projects, as well as more routine landlord and tenant/asset management matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acting for high-profile clients on large and nationally significant energy and infrastructure transactions, including wind, solar, hydro, and nuclear transactions in the energy sphere, and road, rail, and ports and other major infrastructure projects.
  • Providing advice on broader development work outside of the energy/infrastructure sector, such as regeneration projects.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
Requirements
  • 7+ years' PQE in real estate from a well-regarded commercial firm and an energy/renewables sector focus.
  • Strong technical knowledge of energy and infrastructure law, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
