Clearing and Cleaning Service Specialist

About the Role
The purpose of this role is to work in conjunction with internal colleagues in Operations and Housing to provide a clearing and cleaning service to help turnaround Void properties and maintain Council properties. We are a response service for customers allowing buildings and sites to maintain health, safety, and fire standards by removal of fly-tipped items and blood and other bodily fluids.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a clearing and cleaning service to help turnaround Void properties and maintain Council properties.
- Work in conjunction with internal colleagues in Operations and Housing to ensure effective service delivery.
- Remove fly-tipped items and blood and other bodily fluids from buildings and sites.
- Ensure health, safety, and fire standards are maintained.
- Hold a full current UK driving license and be willing to undertake driving vehicles supplied to transport yourself and co-workers to sites across the City.
- Hold a full PVG certificate.
- Demonstrate cleaning processes and the use of cleaning equipment and materials.
- Demonstrate manual handling processes.
- Work both as part of a team and have the ability to use one's own initiative.
