Biology Educator

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our team at Three R's Teacher Recruitment. As a Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive biology lessons to students in Key Stage 3-5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver lesson plans that cover the Key Stage 3-5 curriculum, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive education in biology.
• Hands-on Learning Experiences: Design and implement hands-on learning experiences that encourage scientific exploration and understanding of biological concepts.
• Student Support and Feedback: Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support students' academic growth and development.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the delivery of lesson plans and create enriching learning experiences.
• Classroom Environment: Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore and understand biological sciences.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with a focus on Biology or related subjects.
• Teaching Experience: Demonstrated experience in teaching Biology to Key Stage 3-4 students; Key Stage 5 experience is advantageous.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for fostering a love of science in young minds.
• Flexibility: Willing and flexible to work at a variety of schools in the area.
