Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to lead the delivery of our NHS Cadets programme, working with young people from marginalised communities across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and engage young people onto the NHS Cadets Programme, providing guidance and support to help them maximise opportunities available to them.
  • Supervise and mentor St John Ambulance youth support staff and volunteers to deliver the programme effectively.
  • Develop and deliver engaging programme content, ensuring it meets the needs of our young participants.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless programme delivery and administration.

Requirements

  • GCSE level or equivalent (Grade C/4) in 5 subjects, including Maths and English.
  • Experience of teaching, training, or coaching young people, with a strong understanding of youth/community work and the challenges faced by marginalised communities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor content to suit diverse audiences and support young people to achieve their potential.
