Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Plumber to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings, as well as handling small reactive maintenance tasks. This role requires a professional with experience in both installation and reactive work in commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Installation: Perform installation of plumbing systems in commercial properties, including but not limited to piping, fixtures, water systems, and drainage systems.
  2. Reactive Maintenance: Respond to and resolve small plumbing issues, such as leaks, blockages, and minor repairs, in a timely manner.
  3. System Testing and Inspection: Conduct regular inspections and tests of plumbing systems to ensure they meet building codes, safety standards, and functionality.
  4. Troubleshooting: Diagnose plumbing issues quickly and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime for clients.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with other tradespeople (electricians, HVAC technicians, etc.) on large projects to ensure efficient workflow.
  6. Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local building regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
  1. NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent certification
  2. CSCS card
  3. Driver's license
  4. Minimum of 4 years' experience in both installation and maintenance (not including apprenticeship)
  5. Be willing to get a DBS check
Skills:
  1. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  2. Ability to troubleshoot and solve plumbing issues quickly and efficiently
  3. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  4. Good communication and customer service skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in confined spaces, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks. Willingness to work in various commercial environments, including construction sites, offices, and industrial settings.
