Lecturer in Law

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer in Law to join our team at Regent College London. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Learning
- Design, develop, and deliver learning and teaching materials for our students.
- Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials to students, ensuring a high-quality student experience.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and work with the attendance team to ensure the accuracy of student information.
- Assessment and Marking
- Set and mark assessments for students, ensuring timely and constructive feedback.
- Support the production of assessments and ensure they are approved in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Participate in standardization and moderation meetings as required.
- Student Support
- Provide pastoral support to students, signposting them to specialist College services as necessary.
- Monitor student progress and liaise with specialist services as required.
- Quality Assurance
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance processes.
- Engage with Programme Committee meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of student learning experiences.
- Scholarship
- Engage in scholarship activities to support teaching and learning.
- Extend, transform, and apply knowledge to teaching and external activities.
- Managing People and Resources
- Coordinate with colleagues to ensure student needs are met.
- Manage projects and resources to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Essential:
- Master's degree in a relevant subject discipline.
- Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) or willingness to work towards.
- Significant experience in teaching, curriculum development, and quality management in a higher education environment.
- Desirable:
- PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
- Experience of research and enterprise activity.
