Early Years Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Early Years Educator at our Brinds Well Day Nursery in Orpington, Kent. As an Apprentice in Child Development, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience in childcare and education while working towards a Level 3 qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of a team to create and maintain safe and supportive learning environments for young children.
  • Plan and implement opportunities to enhance children's development and complete observations linked to the early years curriculum.
  • Interact positively with all nursery users and work in partnership with colleagues and parents to ensure all children's individual needs are met.
  • Adhere to nursery routines and policies and seek guidance from your leadership team as required.

Requirements:
  • Aged 21 or over.
  • Photographic ID in the form of a valid passport or driving licence.
  • Access to a computer to undertake the initial online assessment and submit ongoing coursework.
  • Comfortable with travelling to and from group training sessions in Newport Pagnell.

Please note that we will need to obtain suitable references and an enhanced DBS check for suitable applicants prior to employment commencing. You will also need to evidence your right to work in the UK and, if you hold maths and English qualifications, you will need to evidence these qualifications too.
