Position Overview

Role: Mobile Forklift Technician

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: £28,000 - £34,000

Recently, we became part of The Briggs Equipment Group, a leading provider of asset management and maintenance services throughout the UK and Ireland. Your Contributions:

  • Visiting client sites to evaluate the necessary work scope, prioritizing tasks in collaboration with the end user while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintaining communication with both the controller and the client throughout the project to clarify expectations regarding timelines and costs.
  • Diagnosing breakdown issues promptly and sourcing the appropriate parts in a cost-effective manner, utilizing available resources including the Briggs Technical team when necessary.
  • Ensuring all tasks comply with engineering standards and relevant specifications.
  • Conducting inspections of your work as it progresses, ensuring that equipment is safe and operational before returning it to the client.
  • Identifying additional repair needs and informing the client, particularly when costs may be incurred, while maximizing potential revenue from damaged equipment.
  • Accurately completing all job-related documentation, securing necessary approvals from clients.

Key Qualifications:

  • Relevant technical certification
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage pressure effectively
  • Proficient in workload management and prioritization
  • Understanding of client requirements
