We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advocate to join our team in London, with the opportunity to work virtually when business dictates. As a Senior Advocate, you will be responsible for managing, strategizing, and achieving successful outcomes across a portfolio of global offshore and onshore renewable accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage claims from first notification of loss to successful resolution, involving multiple stakeholders, including clients, network offices, placement teams, underwriters, and their appointed experts.
  2. Provide proactive advice and guidance on coverage-related issues for clients and Aon network offices to facilitate the settlement and conclusion of claims.
  3. Coordinate discussions and attend meetings, which may require overseas travel, to ensure outstanding levels of communication between the client, adjuster, and underwriter.
  4. Multi-task and deal with a wide and varied case load of claims at any one time.
  5. Be involved in tenders and report writing as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience dealing with renewable claims from first notification of loss to successful resolution.
  • Knowledge of Natural Resources/renewable claims and confidence to coordinate discussions with networks, clients, underwriters, and experts.
  • Solid understanding of claims coverage issues and widely utilized market wordings and clauses.
