Position Overview:
As a Business Risk Assurance Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and enhancing operational efficiency within our organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough compliance assessments on various business submissions.
- Providing insights to Business Risk and Field Management regarding any issues identified during file reviews, facilitating constructive feedback.
- Leading specific projects and partner investigations as required.
- Participating in regular meetings to maintain a unified approach in all support areas, discussing potential improvements and necessary changes.
- Upholding a consistent and acceptable level of service standards across all operations.
Candidate Profile:
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Capable of performing intricate calculations related to Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and analyzing pension scheme information.
- Skilled in proposing process enhancements to foster continuous improvement within the Business Assurance domain, with an ability to adapt to regulatory changes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a talent for conveying complex feedback clearly and effectively.
- Resilient in the face of challenges, with the capacity to manage expectations appropriately.
Essential Qualifications:
- CII Level 4 Diploma or progress towards full qualification.
- Willingness to work in-office for the initial period on specified weekdays.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys engaging with colleagues and resolving issues.
