Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Quant Capital. As a Windows Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating infrastructure systems on Windows-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement infrastructure systems on Windows-based systems
  • Maintain the firm's operating systems, authentication systems, databases, virtualization infrastructure, core network services, and messaging
  • Implement and integrate infrastructure systems on Windows-based systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Powershell
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windows infrastructure
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Windows technologies and best practices

Requirements:

  • STEM degree
  • Significant Windows systems automation experience
  • Powershell programming skills
  • Strong understanding of the Windows platform and related technologies
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with tracing tools
  • Experience with common Windows Server applications and management tools
  • Working knowledge of network protocols, Linux, and information security concepts
  • Experience integrating systems across on-premises and cloud-based environments
  • Experience working with containers on Windows and Linux
