About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estates Officer to join our Estates and Facilities Division at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of building and engineering maintenance staff to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with statutory legislation and optimize resource allocation.
  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to drive excellence in facilities management.
  • Provide professional guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in estate management or a related field, with a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
