Midwife Safeguarding Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate midwife to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a safeguarding midwife, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of women and birthing people throughout their pregnancy journey.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe, clinically effective, and individualized care to women and birthing people
- Develop and implement programs of care, working closely with multidisciplinary professionals
- Be responsible for the organization of midwifery care for assigned patients
- Utilize the full skills of a midwife practitioner to a named caseload of women
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary professionals and agencies to ensure seamless care
- Take appropriate action to ensure patient safety, including delegation of patient care to midwives
- Ensure that midwifery procedures and guidelines are implemented and maintained in accordance with trust and national policies
- Current/pending UK NMC registration
- Evidence of pre-registration midwifery studies/training leading to professional midwifery registration
- Ability to travel
- Flexible approach to working, including variable shift patterns and night shifts
- Ability to undertake manual handling and movement tasks
