We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our team at Venatu Recruitment Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our warehouse and logistics division, ensuring the efficient and effective management of our inventory and supply chain.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead a team of warehouse and logistics staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with our IT department to improve warehouse systems and processes.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as environmental and legislative requirements.
* Oversee stock control, storage layout, and movement within our warehouses to maximize efficiency.
* Recruit and manage warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to company procedures and maintaining discipline.
**Requirements**
* GCSE/T Levels or equivalent in Maths and English.
* A degree in Operations, Logistics, or Leadership, or equivalent qualifications, is preferred.
* Strong background in a senior management role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
* High proficiency in Excel and excellent communication skills.
* Strategic planning abilities, KPI monitoring, and team collaboration.
* Project management skills, experience with racking, maintenance, and site management, and an understanding of Net Zero targets.
