This team plays a crucial role in evaluating current funding levels while addressing cost pressures, engaging in negotiations with funding authorities nationwide, and ensuring timely updates to our internal billing systems.
Core Responsibilities:
- Developing comprehensive costing models and analyses for submission to external funding bodies;
- Collaborating with Regional Managing Directors and their operational teams to provide essential commercial support;
- Interacting with Local Authorities to negotiate and finalize funding increases;
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure that billing systems accurately reflect all inflationary adjustments promptly;
- Identifying and rectifying fee discrepancies in close partnership with the Accounts Receivable team;
- Assisting the Fee Procurement team to meet all deadlines effectively;
- Monitoring and reporting on progress towards departmental objectives;
- Generating weekly and ad hoc reports for distribution across the organization;
- Conducting additional financial analyses as required.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel;
- AAT qualification or a minimum of two years' experience in a comparable role is preferred;
- Proven track record in financial analysis;
- Logical problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail;
- Able to manage personal workload and prioritize tasks effectively;
- Flexible team player;
- Results-oriented;
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with strong communication skills across all levels of staff.
