About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team at RD Financial Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit and accountancy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting senior colleagues on larger assignments, completing tasks to the required standard and actively engaging with feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Running smaller assignments, completing tasks for managers and supervisors to the required level, delegating tasks to new trainees and providing ongoing constructive feedback.
  • Supporting a diverse portfolio of clients, preparing and submitting statutory accounts, and leading audits from planning through to completion.
  • Reviewing the work of junior accountants, providing on-the-job training, and managing assignments with the assistance of other team members as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in accountancy practice, with a strong background in audit and accounts.
  • Part-qualified candidates may be considered, depending on the level of experience.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills, with confidence working alongside senior management.
  • Proficient use of IT, including Excel, audit and accounts packages, and Outlook.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude, with effective time management skills and a commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
