Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at McCabe & Barton. As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure high availability and low latency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision and support of Exchange infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls)
  • Work with Cisco, Arista, and Fortinet products
  • Provide second-line support and monitoring for Exchange infrastructure
  • Assist Exchange Operations team with daily operations and issue resolution
  • Implement corporate security policies in collaboration with the Security team
  • Lead projects to improve production environments
  • Create technical documentation
  • Contribute to design and architecture discussions
  • Participate in shift work and on-call support as needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in network administration and deployment
  • Experience with low-latency environments is highly desirable
  • Proficient in network protocols: OSPF, BGP, BFD, VRRP, HSRP, RSTP
  • Knowledge of multicast architecture and protocols (PIM-SM, IGMP v2)
  • Experience with multi-VRF environments
  • Familiarity with Zabbix or similar monitoring platforms
  • Experience managing firewall appliances, preferably Fortinet
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to write clear, concise documentation
  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience in Financial Services/FinTech or similar high-pressure industry
  • Strong command of spoken and written English
