Position Overview
A Technical Sales Specialist / Area Sales Consultant / Compressed Air Solutions Engineer is sought to join a prominent manufacturer in the compressed air industry.

The successful candidate will operate remotely, focusing on the West Midlands / North West region of the UK, engaging with key accounts in the compressed air market.

This role involves managing existing key accounts while also pursuing new business opportunities related to compressed air equipment across various sectors, including vacuums, blowers, dryers, compressors, air fittings, hoses, pneumatics, hydraulics, and other mechanical engineering products.

Compensation Package
£30,000-£38,000 (OTE £50,000) based on experience

Key Responsibilities
Oversee a portfolio of key accounts through distribution channels and OEM clients across diverse industries.

Enhance and expand existing relationships while driving business development efforts for various compressed air products and services. This includes maintaining sales through demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations to meet established targets.

Collaborate closely with the Service Department to ensure exceptional after-sales support is delivered.
Engage with multiple engineering teams.
Focus on the West Midlands / North West region.
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in selling or servicing mechanical engineering equipment such as compressors, blowers, dryers, vacuums, and similar products.

Manufacturing Engineers, Process Engineers, or Service Engineers looking to transition into sales roles are also encouraged to apply.

Strong determination, enthusiasm, and a drive to succeed and grow within a reputable engineering firm.
A technical qualification, such as being Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or a degree, would be beneficial.
Possession of a full clean driving license.
Home-based with a willingness to travel and stay away as necessary.
