We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Advisor to join our team at Charities Aid Foundation. As a key member of our Impact Accelerator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-value consultancy work with our private clients, corporate, public sector, and charity clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Strategic Consultancy Work: Provide expert advice to clients on philanthropy, grantmaking, sustainability, fundraising, strategy, research, governance, impact measurement, and evaluation.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, facilitating workshops and discussions to drive outcomes.
  • Drive Business Growth: Assist in the development of our Advisory business strategy and pipeline, driving growth and retention of clients.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with colleagues in the Impact Accelerator and across CAF to maximize learnings and identify opportunities for synergy.
Requirements
  • Experience in Advising: Proven experience advising foundations, individual philanthropists, charities, corporates, and/or the public sector.
  • Expertise in Key Cause Areas: Strong expertise in key cause areas, particularly areas that are traditionally underfunded, with the ability to upskill in new areas based on opportunities and needs.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, forward-thinking, and decision-making skills, with strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information confidently.
