Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled UKAS RG2 Category 3 Inspection Engineer to join our team at Stork UK. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting in-service plant inspections of major pressure systems in accordance with the Written Schemes of Examination (WSE).

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare WSEs in accordance with the Pressure System Safety Regulations (PSSR) and develop inspection work scopes to satisfy the WSE.
  • Conduct invasive visual examinations of major pressure systems in accordance with the WSE, including process pipework, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, distillation columns, PRVs, and storage tanks.
  • Interface with NDT teams to provide clarification on NDT inspection techniques and ensure integrity objectives are met.
  • Prepare high-quality inspection reports accurately describing the assets' condition and grade corrosion against company procedure corrosion scales.
  • Review PRV certification, ensure devices are correctly set, and are overhauled/tested on a set frequency.
  • Participate in the Risk-Based Assessment program for pressure systems equipment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have in-service inspection experience of process piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, distillation columns, and PRVs, and knowledge of the accompanying design codes. You should also have a strong understanding of PSSR and experience of creating work scopes to carry out examinations of major pressure systems in accordance with the WSE.

Desirable Qualifications

  • ASME Plant Inspector Level 1/2 certification.
  • API 570 Pipe Inspection certification.
  • API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspection Certification.
  • API 653 Tank Inspection Certification.
  • EMMUA 159 Certification.
