Chef Manager Job Opportunity

Caterlink, the leading education sector catering specialist, is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals to our schools and colleges.

We are looking for a passionate and organized individual with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for food and service. The successful candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management, with experience in a similar environment at a similar level. The role will be hands-on, working closely with the team to maintain high standards of health and safety, food safety, and quality.

Caterlink is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure high-quality food production
  • Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to maintain high standards of health and safety and food safety
  • Develop and implement menu plans to meet the needs of our clients
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs to ensure efficiency and profitability
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services
