We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team as a Ward Manager at our Older Adult Mental Health Hospital in Haslemere.
As a Ward Manager, you will play a key role in leading the multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional patient care while mentoring and supervising junior nurses to maintain the highest standards of care.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership skills, relevant experience in a similar environment, and a positive attitude with a natural ability to care and be compassionate.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the ward team in delivering high-quality patient care
- Mentor and supervise junior nurses to develop their skills and confidence
- Collaborate with the Hospital Manager to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the ward
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
- Hold a valid NMC registration as a RMN nurse
- Relevant experience in a similar environment
- Proven track record of leadership skills
- Clear DBS
Benefits:
- Salary of between £45,000 – £55,000 (DOE)
- 25 Days Annual Leave + 8 Bank Holidays
