Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at TOTAL TECHNOLOGY (ENGINEERING) LIMITED. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and supervising the installation of electrical building services in a variety of building types, including schools, commercial offices, and community centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and supervise the installation of electrical building services, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, door access, security systems, and energy-saving systems.
  • Liaise with architects to determine materials needed for projects and stay within established budgets.
  • Ensure building services design meets safety and energy requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date with changing regulations and apply improvements to all buildings.
  • Manage consultants and contractors on major project design and build contracts.
  • Provide technical design drawings and specifications, along with budget estimates and financial control.
  • Comply with Health and Safety at Work Act and CDM Regulations.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in a building and construction environment.
  • HND/HNC or equivalent HTC qualification in Electrical or Mechanical services.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD drafting programs, including Revit 3D.
  • Experience in planning and controlling groups of projects.
