Job Opportunity: Locum Consultant in Stroke Medicine

National Locums is working in partnership with a reputable NHS client in the West Midlands to recruit a locum Consultant in Stroke Medicine. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team in a hospital setting, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert medical care to patients with stroke-related conditions
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Participating in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contributing to the development of stroke medicine services within the trust

Requirements:

  • Full GMC licence to practice
  • Experience as a Consultant in Medicine, preferably with a focus on stroke medicine
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours and Location:

The successful candidate will work core hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, at a hospital in the West Midlands. The trust is open to considering candidates with General Medicine or Geriatrics experience who are interested in working in stroke medicine.
