As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a rigorous Art curriculum, expanding our enrichment offer, and growing the number of students choosing to study Art at A-Level.

As a member of our team, you will receive direct support from our Director of Arts and senior leadership team. You will also join a thriving curriculum leadership team, working together to drive whole-school improvement. Our school offers exceptional professional development and training opportunities, including NPQs through the Ark Teaching School Hub and Ambition Institute.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a rigorous Art curriculum, aligned with national standards
  • Expand our Art enrichment offer, building a love of Art across the school
  • Grow the number of students choosing to study Art at A-Level
  • Work with leaders to evaluate the Art curriculum and develop an approach to guiding students to make greater progress
  • Contribute to the trust-wide collaboration of curriculum leaders across the Ark Schools network
