Electronics Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to join our Electronics Design team at Red Bull Powertrains. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical and electronic systems for our grand prix cars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical and electronic systems for our cars, including circuit boards, sensors, and actuators.
  • Work closely with our Chassis and Powertrains Electronics designers to ensure seamless integration of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Test and validate electrical and electronic systems to ensure they meet our engineering requirements.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that electrical and electronic systems are integrated into our cars.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or equivalent in Electronics or a related field.
  • High-level understanding of electrical and electronic systems used in the Motorsport, Aerospace, or Automotive industries.
  • Competence in producing technical documentation and specifications.
  • Good knowledge of sensor technologies.
  • Experience in producing robust design solutions for small batch, prototype, analogue, and digital circuits.
  • Experience in using PCB design tools and Computer Aided Design Harness packages.
