Learning Disabilities Specialist Doctor in Psychiatry

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Disabilities Specialist Doctor to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. As a Specialist Doctor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our service users and their loved ones.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist medical care to patients with learning disabilities, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to learning disabilities care.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and services.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- At least 4 years postgraduate experience, including at least 2 years in core psychiatry training programme.
- Good clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
