ICTs Europe is seeking reliable and technology-savvy Relief Security Officers to ensure the security and safety of our Data Centre client's premises and personnel across the Hayes and Uxbridge area.

As part of a relief team, you will provide crucial support by covering holiday and leave periods, demonstrating flexibility to respond to last-minute operational needs.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage access control for buildings, car parks, and grounds, ensuring smooth entry and exit for employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the facilities to deter and detect potential security breaches or issues.
  • Verify ID passes with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining a secure environment.
  • Activate and deactivate alarms, unlock and lock buildings, rooms, external barriers, and gates to maintain authorized access control.
  • Monitor fire, security, and building systems, including CCTV footage, to ensure the safety and integrity of the premises.
  • Identify and report any Health & Safety concerns, providing first aid assistance when necessary.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to customer requests and inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records, including incident reports, using both computer-based and paper systems.
Essential Requirements:
  • Valid SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the security sector.
  • Five years' checkable history and references.
  • Successful completion of a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) (CCTV) license.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Experience in a similar role.

Full training, uniform, and health and safety equipment (PPE) are provided.
