Contract: Short term with potential for extension.

Type of School: Single Form Entry Primary School

Salary: £120 - £150 per day (AWR applicable after 12 working weeks).

Our single form entry primary school in Gateshead is looking for a Foundation Stage educator to join our vibrant and supportive team. We are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can cultivate a passion for learning and achieve their utmost potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging and age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Foundation Stage curriculum.
  • Create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment where children feel secure and valued.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to address the diverse needs of our students.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to build strong home-school partnerships.
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular activities and events that enhance the educational experience.
  • Stay informed about best practices in Foundation Stage education and pursue professional development opportunities.
