We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of construction projects, from initial calculations to final figures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and minimize project costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Identify and analyze commercial risks, developing effective responses to mitigate them.
- Prepare and analyze costings for tenders, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
- Allocate work to subcontractors, ensuring efficient project delivery.
- Provide expert advice on contractual claims, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Perform risk, value management, and cost control, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven knowledge of construction industry practices, processes, and standards.
- Proficient in computer software programs related to job responsibilities.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in a Quantity Surveyor role within the construction industry.
