Job Opportunity

CER Education is seeking a qualified and experienced Teacher of Female Physical Education to join our team on a full-time basis.

Our client is a reputable Secondary School in the Wirral area, dedicated to providing a high-quality education that is both challenging and nurturing. The successful candidate will support teaching across key stages 3, 4, and 5, with a focus on delivering engaging and effective physical education lessons to pupils of different ages and abilities.

The ideal candidate will have good IT skills, enabling them to document practical examination assessments, prepare lesson materials, and support teaching staff. They will also be able to motivate and encourage all pupils to take part in a range of sports and physical activities, while managing class behaviour and working collaboratively with learning support assistants to help pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

We are looking for someone who values working as part of a team, ensuring the highest possible standards of achievement and attainment. The successful applicant will have:

  • UK qualified teaching status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student progress and well-being
