We are looking for experienced clinicians to become integral members of our leadership team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.

As a registered clinician, you will possess substantial experience in supporting individuals with diverse mental health challenges. Your background in team leadership and guiding teams through transitions will be highly beneficial. The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team will be advantageous.

In this pivotal role, you will be part of the management team, responsible for providing supervision and mentorship to your colleagues. You will be a decisive leader, adept at determining suitable care pathways for patients referred to our services.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary function will be to serve as a senior decision-maker for patients referred to our mental health services, ensuring that the most suitable pathways are identified and timely assessments and interventions are provided.

  • You will oversee and support practitioners in making decisions regarding complex and high-risk referrals.
  • You will provide expert guidance and support to all professionals referring to our services, fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners, including primary care and social services.
  • Collaborating with the team manager, you will help maintain the highest standards of practice and service delivery.
  • You will play a vital role in the transformation of community mental health services, aligning with our strategic objectives.
  • You will support decision-making throughout the patient journey and act as a deputy for the team manager when required.
