Clinical Deputy Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Deputy Manager to join our multi-disciplinary learning disability and autism inpatient service. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities and autism.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work within a 24-hour period to support audit, guidelines, and quality improvement approaches
  • Support the development of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support

Requirements
  • Registered with the NMC
  • Substantial experience working in a clinical care setting with people with learning disabilities and/or mental health diagnosis
  • Significant experience of undertaking assessment, formulation, risk assessment, and positive risk management
Person Specification
  • Relevant professional qualification
  • Current unrestricted registration with NMC or HCPC
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Hold or be willing to undertake Quality Improvement training
