Key Responsibilities
- Provide actuarial expertise on core UK defined benefit pensions, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies for large teams and projects.
- Coach and mentor junior associates, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Work independently and as part of client teams, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Take ownership of your work, demonstrating a strong sense of accountability and pride in your accomplishments.
- Continuously challenge yourself and seek opportunities to step outside your comfort zone, driving innovation and growth within the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in core UK defined benefit actuarial work, with a strong understanding of pension schemes.
- Progression towards Fellowship of the IFoA, with a minimum of Associate or CAA qualification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong client-service orientation.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Strong delegation skills, with a desire to coach and mentor junior associates.
- Ability to work independently and as part of client teams, with a strong sense of accountability and pride in your work.
