Optometrist Specialist

Optegra is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Guildford. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work alongside consultants to provide exceptional patient care.

• Conduct pre and post-operative consultations to assess patient suitability for treatment
• Perform examinations associated with refractive, cataract, glaucoma, and retinal surgeries
• Run acute and follow-up clinics for patients post-surgery
• Provide health advice and support to patients
• Offer first-line clinical advice and refer patients to medical practitioners as necessary

• Current GOC registration as a fully qualified Optometrist
• Extensive experience working in a hospital setting, with IP or YAG training
• Experience using patient administration systems and electronic medical records
• Ability to work towards conversion targets and other KPIs within Vision Correction
