Electrical Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Mitie. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out fixed wire test and inspection, working on nights, and ensuring that the fixed wiring in estate buildings is in a safe standard and compliance with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate under full compliance with Sellafield SLSP's in the service delivery.
  • Achieve and maintain Electrical Nominated Persons Status for both Sellafield.
  • Provide a high standard of workmanship and customer service within expected time, cost, and quality.
  • Liaise with customers and colleagues in a pro-active and positive approach to plan and deliver works.
  • Maintain allocated work equipment, vehicles, and records in accordance with company policy.
  • Provide a clear scope for additional reactive and project works, including preparation of quotations/estimates when required.
  • Undertake works in the most efficient and cost-effective manner to deliver best value to our customer.
  • Identify opportunities for additional works outside of the contract scope and provide feedback to team leader or line management.
  • Complete time sheets in a prompt and submit for review.

Requirements:

  • A good knowledge and experience in electrical installation and remedials works.
  • A good knowledge and experience in electrical test and inspection.
  • A good knowledge of current regulations.
  • IT experience – Microsoft, Excel.
