About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Hays Accounts and Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts, fixed assets, VAT returns, bank reconciliations, sales & purchase ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare statutory accounts for external auditors and liaise with them to complete the audit.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Holding an accounting qualification is not essential, but you will need to demonstrate the necessary experience and skills required for the role.
